Anna J. Small Roseboro, Past CATE President (2002-2004) NBCT, author and educator with decades experience teaching English and Speech to students in middle school, high school and college in public, private, and parochial schools in five states, now mentors early career teachers in online teacher communities, and coaches new writers. Author of ten textbooks for teachers. PLANNING WITH PURPOSE: A Handbook for New College Teachers co-authored with Claudia A.Marschall (Rowman and Littlefield, 2021). She currently is a mentor for candidates for National Board Certification and, with Susan Steffel, MCTE's Past President, co-authored a new textbook, EMPOWERING LEARNERS: Teaching Different Genres to Diverse Student Bodies designed for college classroom teachers and was released last Fall as a Rowman and Littlefield publication.
